Since the first case of AIDS was found in the USA in 1981, all human beings began to face the troublesome problem. The fight against AIDS started. Although AIDS cannot be cured at the present, it can be prevented through safe behavior. Our common enemy is HIV, the virus, not HIV infected people and patients. Ignorance is the best friend of HIV. We should face AIDS and care about the infected. Let us unite shoulder by shoulder to resist the virus.
The 1st of December is World AIDS Day. It is a very important day; it is a day of raising awareness about AIDS. Each year the UN sets up a different theme; the international theme of the year 2009 is “UNIVERSAL ACCESS AND HUMAN RIGHTS”.
